📋 Description

• Apply and execute complex accounting areas, including ASC 606 Revenue Recognition and ASC 842 Leases • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex or strategic accounting matters • Prepare and review accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation • Ensure proper revenue recognition for customer contracts and sales arrangements, including subscriptions, reserves, chargebacks, sales allowances, and deductions • Review and maintain lease accounting, including right-of-use assets and lease liabilities • Perform and support general accounting activities • Ensure consistent application of accounting guidance and company accounting policies • Oversee, improve, and standardize accounting and process documentation • Support the annual financial statement audit • Prepare quarterly filing support schedules, including cash flow and stock-based compensation schedules • Support evaluation of accounting implications of significant or strategic transactions • Research and interpret complex accounting guidance under U.S. GAAP • Prepare and maintain technical accounting memoranda • Monitor new accounting pronouncements and assess organizational impacts • Support internal control compliance and maintain effective internal control over financial reporting • Report to the Corporate Controller

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting • Active CPA license • Experience in a national public accounting firm • 8+ years’ experience in accounting • Experience supervising others • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements • Experience preparing technical accounting memos and reporting disclosures • Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Oracle or Netsuite is a plus • Strong analytical and communication skills • Demonstrated talent for improving processes and a mindset for continuous improvement • Strong work ethic, a sense of urgency and unquestioned integrity • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
