📋 Description

• Own Smartsheet’s SEO and AEO strategy, including content themes, keyword priorities, channel approach, and pipeline-focused success metrics • Drive answer engine optimization for AI-powered search and answer surfaces • Translate SEO/AEO priorities into an executable content roadmap aligned with demand programs • Lead the demand-oriented web strategy and roadmap for improving pipeline contribution • Define persona-based web journeys from awareness to action and collaborate with UX, Web Development, and content teams to implement them • Contribute to quarterly web planning and partner with Digital Marketing on paid media, social, and campaigns • Partner with DXO and Web Development on conversion rate optimization, test prioritization, and results interpretation • Design web performance and pipeline reporting methods with the Analytics team • Analyze web and AEO performance using GA4, Looker Studio, Google Search Console, AirOps, SEMRush, Tableau, and other sources • Continuously optimize demand strategy to drive pipeline growth • Directly manage and develop the global SEO team, set priorities, support career development, build a high-performance culture, and identify talent • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in SEO, web strategy, or digital marketing • At least 3 years in a role requiring management or leadership of others • Deep expertise in SEO strategy, including technical SEO, content strategy, and link authority • Strong working knowledge of AEO and AI-powered search trends • Demonstrated ability to connect search and content programs to pipeline and revenue outcomes • Experience in a B2B SaaS environment with a complex buyer journey and multiple personas • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into clear recommendations • Excellent communication skills • Experience managing direct reports and developing talent, with a track record of building high-performing teams, preferably in a globally distributed matrixed organization • Familiarity with CRO principles and experimentation methodology is a plus
