📋 Description

• Obtain and verify information needed to underwrite new business cases • Provide customer service and support to agents and underwriters by telephone and email • Obtain underwriting requirements and follow up on pending offers • Compile documents and communicate with reinsurers • Update claims and underwriting workflow systems and verify data accuracy • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions • Review forms and follow up for missing information • Review and approve final policy documents • Set up and process exam-only and informal inquiry files • Research physicians, affiliates, and addresses; obtain authorizations and order reports • Process reinstatements, exchanges, term conversions, reissue policies, incoming mail, faxes, and medical releases • Issue annuity contracts and life policies and process amendments and initial premiums • Keep current with underwriting, replacement, claims, and new-business requirements • Build and maintain vendor relationships and process vendor bills • Assist with initial claims forms and reports • Mentor coworkers and provide feedback to the manager as a Case Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 1-2 years of related experience required • Customer Service experience required • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent data entry skills • Ability to learn and follow applicable regulations and company procedures • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly • Ability to pay close attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and organize a heavy workload • Experience in a life insurance or closely related setting required for Case Manager • High School Diploma or equivalent required for Associate Case Manager • Associate degree in business or related field required for Case Manager • Visa sponsorship is not available • Relocation assistance is not available
