📋 Description

• Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to optimize industrial processes. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement automation solutions in steel plants. • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to automation systems. • Participate in continuous improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce operational costs. • Document procedures and training related to automation systems. • Prepare technical reports based on information collected in the field. • Perform equipment commissioning. • Provide support to SMS sales teams in preparing basic designs for sales proposals and in the preparation of technical proposals. • Carry out technical activities with other SMS Group units worldwide.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. • Proven experience in PLC programming, preferably in industrial environments. • Knowledge of steelmaking processes and their specific characteristics. • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Modbus). • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. • Intermediate to advanced level of English. • Knowledge of galvanizing processes (a plus).
