📋 Description

• Own and advance the core design system powering web and mobile app platforms • Build and maintain Figma components, widgets, and primitives using advanced variants, properties, auto layout, and constraints • Own variable and token architecture across primitive, semantic, and component layers, including multi-brand theme modes • Audit the design library, manage versioning, plan deprecations, and reduce design debt • Partner with front-end developers to review implementations and ensure code matches Figma designs • Align component properties, states, and naming conventions between Figma libraries and front-end code such as Storybook • Define and document design patterns, usage guidelines, and responsive behavior rules • Support designers through onboarding, usage reviews, and component gap analysis • Establish processes for system requests, pattern proposals, and library-friction resolution • Communicate system decisions and align internal stakeholders around standards • Design end-to-end features, flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes • Validate design hypotheses with UX Researchers and Product Managers through usability tests, interviews, and user feedback • Enforce WCAG AA accessibility fundamentals across digital platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Ukrainian/Russian proficiency is required • 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, including at least 1 year building and maintaining a production design system used by other teams • Expert-level mastery of Figma, including advanced component architecture, sets, variable layers, design tokens, and multi-brand theming • Strong technical literacy and ability to read HTML/CSS/JSX or Storybook pages • Ability to hold constructive technical conversations with front-end developers • Practical understanding of responsive design across breakpoints and platform constraints • Familiarity with WCAG AA accessibility standards, including focus states, contrast ratios, and keyboard navigation • Proven ability to conduct usability research, iterate on prototypes, and define requirements from team briefs • Exceptional communication skills for articulating system decisions, facilitating cross-team alignment, and managing feature requests diplomatically • Hands-on experience in or alongside a dedicated Design Ops function is nice-to-have • Familiarity with visual design principles and brand consistency is nice-to-have • Experience establishing deprecation strategies and managing large-scale UI kit migrations is nice-to-have
