📋 Description

• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and other documents submitted for consultant approval to ensure compliance with building regulations and related legislation • Carry out building inspections before and during construction • Verify compliance with regulations related to public health, fire safety, energy conservation, sustainability, and building accessibility • Liaise proactively with design teams to identify key hazards and interfaces with other designers • Facilitate project risk workshops • Support SOCOTEC's continued success through building regulations and compliance consultancy

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Architecture, or Construction Management • Background in Building Surveying, Architecture, or Construction Management • Good understanding of the legal framework behind building regulations • Good knowledge of technical design, including commercial fit out • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organisational skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other MS Office software • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team • Proactive, reliable, and flexible approach
