📋 Description

• Join the Billing team and contribute to Billing v2, a global overhaul and expansion of subscription infrastructure • Design and ship the foundational Products & Prices domain model and public APIs from scratch • Build high-precision volume and graduated pricing engines for multi-tier enterprise billing • Decouple critical services from the Products API to eliminate single points of failure • Lead the automated retry engine across all invoices to recover failed payments • Develop and launch the new Billing 2.0 module practically from scratch • Use automated unit, integration, functional, and e2e testing to ship and scale safely • Collaborate with a team consisting of 1 PM, 2 Senior Engineers, 1 Automation QA, and 1 Domain Analyst

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of backend engineering experience in Go, PHP, Kotlin, Java, Python, or Node.js • Experience covering code with unit, integration, functional, and e2e tests • Strong understanding of high-load system design principles • Experience with PostgreSQL and queues or streams • Proactive, communicative, independent, and result-oriented mindset • Experience with payment systems or in fintech / financial services is nice to have • Kafka is nice to have • AWS services are nice to have • CI/CD pipelines are nice to have
