📋 Description

• Join our Software Engineering Practice as a Principal Engineer, specialising in Java. • At the forefront of driving innovation, leading technical teams, and shaping cutting-edge solutions. • Passionate about technical leadership, software architecture, and making a real impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Working across the full lifecycle from requirement gathering and design, through to coding and into testing, deployment and maintenance. • Liaising with management and stakeholders on client requirements and understanding team objectives. • As a consultant with Solirius you will have exposure to a variety of projects and challenges • Championing and contributing towards engineering best practices across our team and projects. • Identifying/creating ideas for technical solutions • Providing feedback to project teams on progress/outcomes • Advise developers on technical decisions • Proven experience in technical leadership. • Expertise in software architecture and design. • Strong project management skills. • Agile methodologies • A passion for innovation and problem-solving. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Substantial experience as a hands-on Java Engineer • Ability to advocate Java/Coding principles, practices and philosophy • Ability to communicate your design, both verbally and in written form • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and detailed technical specialists • Beneficial to have worked within the Government previously or Public Sector
