📋 Description

• Act as the primary strategic HR partner for non-exempt support, service, finance, and legal functional leaders, from line managers to executives • Design and deliver scalable solutions focused on strategic planning, visioning, performance management, talent assessment, change management, and team building • Manage and facilitate company programming, including Career Connect performance reviews, calibrations, manager workshops, and engagement survey readouts/action planning • Diagnose organizational needs, identify talent gaps, and partner with leaders to implement practical talent solutions • Serve as a functional subject-matter expert in one or more People function areas • Use insights and data to anticipate people-related challenges, propose proactive solutions, and contribute to People Team strategy and planning • Manage HRIS updates, employee records, and operational workflows to ensure data accuracy and a smooth employee experience • Leverage AI-based tools to replace tasks or work more effectively • Independently handle onboarding, offboarding, performance management conversations, and other HR operational processes • Build trusted partnerships with business leaders and provide coaching and guidance • Gather employee sentiment, surface insights to People Team leadership, and deliver organizational or programmatic improvements • Develop, analyze, and iterate initiatives to enhance engagement and retention • Reinforce SonderMind’s culture by recognizing milestones, celebrating wins, connecting employees to purpose, and strengthening belonging • Drive data-driven, continuous organizational improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional HR experience, especially supporting service or sales leadership • Experience helping global and/or highly matrixed organizations scale • Confidence navigating spreadsheets, HRIS platforms, and employee data • Solid knowledge of HR fundamentals, including policies, processes, and employee lifecycle best practices • Proven experience building trust and strong partnerships, especially with executive-level leadership • Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business • Strong consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills • Effective communication and critical thinking skills • Demonstrates empathy and experience driving community-building work • Proactive, resourceful mindset in the face of ambiguity • Experience supporting non-exempt or hourly employee populations • Currently a resident and authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Must not require sponsorship now or in the future
