📋 Description

• Design, build, and evolve mobile experiences across Spotify’s consumer surfaces. • Contribute to architecture and development of reusable mobile foundations and frameworks. • Support initiatives that improve scalability, performance, reliability, and developer experience. • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and platform teams to shape product direction. • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and drive quality through testing practices. • Engage in experimentation and prototyping for future content and listening experiences. • Explore modern engineering workflows, including AI-assisted development tools. • Balance short-term product needs with long-term platform sustainability. • Contribute to Spotify's engineering culture through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience developing Android applications using Kotlin. • Awareness of building maintainable, scalable, reusable, and well-tested software systems. • Experience collaborating with engineers and colleagues across disciplines. • Care for code quality, testing, documentation, and long-term maintainability. • Curiosity, ownership, and willingness to step outside immediate area of expertise. • Curiosity about modern development tooling, including AI-assisted coding solutions. • Growth mindset and continuously looking for opportunities to learn and improve. • Familiarity with SQL, analytics systems, or data engineering concepts.
