📋 Description

• Work with a collaborative team to improve the infrastructure systems that power Spotify’s backend • Build, operate, and maintain central services with a focus on reliability and scalability • Design and develop infrastructure tools and services used by engineering teams across Spotify • Work with modern technologies at scale, supporting thousands of developers and over a billion users • Contribute to improving system performance, availability, and resilience • Take part in an on-call rotation and support the services your team owns

🎯 Requirements

• experienced in building backend systems or infrastructure services • strong programming skills in at least one language; experience with Java is helpful • experience working with cloud-based environments • understand fundamentals of distributed systems and scalable architecture • care about building reliable systems and improving how they perform over time • enjoy learning, experimenting, and working with new technologies • comfortable collaborating with others across teams and locations • interest in networking, media delivery, or CDN systems
