• Oversee construction activities at assigned jobsite • Ensure work is performed safely and meets productivity and quality goals • Provide guidance and mentorship to crew members • Assist with project documentation and ensure accurate accounting of productivity metrics • Prepare construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation • Work with Superintendent onsite and other foremen to develop daily job tasks • Transport tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites • Operate heavy earthmoving equipment such as dozers, loaders, scrapers, excavators or motor graders while leading a crew • Adhere to all safety rules, guidelines, and codes • Maintain records of time worked and materials used
• High school diploma or equivalent • At least five years of operating experience • Thorough understanding of practices involved in the use and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment • Thorough understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery • Thorough understanding of GPS systems and how they are utilized in heavy earthmoving activities • Valid Driver’s license • Proficiency in spoken and written English
