📋 Description

• Provide commercial legal services to startups and small businesses • Draft and review commercial contracts • Advise clients across a range of commercial law areas • Handle a high volume and variety of clients • Work across areas including company setup, contract review and negotiation, employment, capital raising, and data protection • Operate within Sprintlaw’s technology platforms and tech-startup business model • Work autonomously while collaborating with an innovative international team • Deliver efficient, accessible, fixed-fee legal services • Do not handle disputes or litigation

🎯 Requirements

• Around 2–4 years PQE in general commercial law • Experience in private practice or an in-house environment • Experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts • Corporate law experience, including startup capital raising or M&A, viewed favourably • Employment law experience viewed favourably • Technology law experience viewed favourably • UK legal qualifications highly valued but not essential • Experience in UK firms advantageous; experience in other common law jurisdictions welcomed • Personable and experienced working directly with clients • Tech-savvy and able to operate technology platforms • Independent and comfortable working autonomously • Efficient, with the ability to work smart and get things done • Ideally valid working rights in the UK • Visa support limited to Australian, New Zealand, or Canadian citizens who have practised law in that same jurisdiction • CV and cover letter addressing the required skills and experience
