📋 Description

• Own the Timescale data warehouse as Synera's single source of truth • Extract data from Salesforce, HubSpot, product, finance, and other business systems into the warehouse • Structure and annotate data for querying • Build and own ETL pipelines, data models, and synchronization jobs • Build reporting and forecasting layers using Power BI, Salesforce reports, and forecast models • Analyze pipeline, funnel, and usage data to forecast business direction • Model and expose data through warehouse models, APIs, MCP connectors, permissions, and governance for AI agents • Build retrieval layers for documents, wiki content, tickets, and meeting transcripts using chunking, embeddings, and indexing • Ensure transformations are version-controlled, tested, and documented • Implement data-quality monitoring, validation, and hygiene • Partner with teams to bring data into the warehouse and make machine-readable data the default • Own the warehouse and ingestion landscape end to end • Build the knowledge layer for Synera's company-wide superagent

🎯 Requirements

• SQL is second nature • Experience building ETL/data pipelines, using Airflow or similar • Experience building data models • Strong data extraction and transformation skills • Experience building data layers behind LLM applications, including retrieval, embeddings, vector search, context design, MCP, and comparable tool interfaces • Hands-on experience integrating multiple systems, including APIs, webhooks, authentication models, rate limits, and schema changes • Ability to debug discrepancies across multiple tools • Strong awareness of data access and privacy • Experience with scripts, APIs, workflow tools, and AI agents • Daily working use of LLMs • Experience building reporting and forecasting used by stakeholders • Confident English communication; German is a plus • Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues, sales representatives, marketers, and executives • Ownership mentality and ability to document work and improve systems • Alignment with Synera's core values • Residency in Germany
