📋 Description

• Own the financial-systems strategy and execution across Teamshares' network of companies • Design and implement ERP solutions and lead ERP transitions with implementation partners and company finance teams • Evaluate financial-systems tools, platforms, payment processors, sales tax software, accounting automation, and specialized tools • Advise leadership on financial-technology investments and platform selection, including QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and industry-specific ERPs • Build a long-term vision for financial-systems standardization across the network • Establish financial-systems best practices, standards, governance, and scalable documentation • Define approaches for multi-subsidiary accounting, intercompany transactions, reporting structures, and tax compliance • Evaluate vendor and implementation-partner recommendations and proposals, challenging over-engineered solutions • Serve as the escalation point for financial-systems challenges, diagnosing problems and troubleshooting hands-on • Make recommendations on configuration, customization, and process change • Build and lead a small team as the function grows

🎯 Requirements

• 7–12 years of experience in ERP implementations, financial-systems leadership, enterprise accounting, or related fields • Deep hands-on knowledge of NetSuite • Practical experience with other financial-systems tools • Strong judgment regarding financial-systems architecture and platform, vendor, and approach trade-offs • Experience evaluating and advising on technology vendors and solutions • Ability to assess vendor proposals and identify over-engineering • Comfort working with ambiguity and in growing organizations • Ability to communicate clearly with finance teams, implementation partners, technology leaders, and business executives • Willingness to work hands-on, troubleshoot problems, review implementation details, and support execution directly • Nice to have: experience leading ERP implementations or modernization initiatives for companies with multiple subsidiaries or complex financial needs • Nice to have: experience as a financial-systems consultant, solution architect, or in-house finance technology leader • Nice to have: experience evaluating and managing multiple financial-systems platforms and tools • Nice to have: background in financial operations, corporate accounting, or finance technology • Nice to have: hands-on expertise in NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar cloud platforms
