📋 Description

• Design and deliver enterprise-level data solutions from discovery through prototyping, architectural design, and delivery • Work on projects using Microsoft Fabric to deliver data products and platforms for reporting, analytics, and AI • Meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers and deliver value • Support colleagues in their development • Contribute to the Telefónica Tech UK&I Data & AI internal and external community

🎯 Requirements

• Strategic and operational decision-making skills • Ability to guide, direct, or influence people • Ability to identify opportunities and issues and suggest resolutions • Willingness to learn based on feedback • Ability to help others develop • Involvement in architectural decisions for data solutions • Interest in using AI to solve business problems • Experience using Microsoft Fabric Pipelines, Notebooks, and Lakehouse/Warehouses • Proficiency writing SQL and Python • Understanding of capacity management, including throttling, overage, and scaling • Understanding of metadata-driven data platforms • Understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture • Understanding of Git and version control • Understanding of data modelling and data warehouse theory • Understanding of AI-driven development • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric User Data Functions, Environments, OneLake Catalog and Governance, Fabric CLI, Data Agents, and Fabric Apps • Understanding of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, BICEP, Azure Networking, and Infrastructure • DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer Associate certification is nice to have
