📋 Description

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize agreements with clinical study sites • Negotiate investigator grant budgets, contractual terms and conditions within approved parameters • Negotiate clinical trial agreements, budgets, payment terms, ancillary agreements and amendments with assigned sites • Partner with Study Startup, CROs, Clinical Operations and TAU teams to improve SB&C metrics and processes • Apply standards across SB&C processes and projects • Use industry tools and data sources to provide budget and contract feedback aligned with fair market value guidance • Identify potential delays and escalate issues appropriately • Track actions and negotiations to meet study and site timelines • Support resolution of escalated site activation issues with the Study Startup team • Liaise with sites and internal functional teams to establish effective relationships • Ensure quality, objectivity and risk analysis in contract delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience in clinical research site contracting and budgeting within a pharmaceutical company, CRO or relevant industry vendor • Ability to explain data to facilitate data-driven decision-making • Knowledge and understanding of clinical study protocols and schedules of assessments • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including clinical development and prescription drug distribution • Understanding of Clinical Trial Agreements, budgeting and fair market value principles • Knowledge of FDA and ICH-GCP guidelines for conducting clinical research • Good understanding of contract law, including business, intellectual property, local tax and stamp laws • Ability to apply basic principles of investigator grant negotiation • General understanding of business and financial principles related to service agreements • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language • Ability to draft and negotiate contract provisions and budgetary issues with appropriate oversight • Attention to detail • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills • Understanding of pharmaceutical product development and CRO involvement • Ability to work independently or in a team environment • Good organizational and time management skills • Working knowledge of PPD SOPs and WPDs • Ability to organize competing priorities and review contractual risks and issues • Ability to use automated systems and computerized applications • Customer-focused communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills • Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6–8 hours per day • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and frequent mobility • Ability to occasionally crouch, stoop, bend and twist the upper body and neck • Ability to lift and carry 15–20 lbs • Ability to access and use in-house and off-the-shelf computer software • Regular and consistent attendance
