📋 Description

• Guide a successful team of application scientists supporting Thermo Fisher Scientific's advances in proteomics • Support customers through pre- and post-sales technical support, training, and consultative services • Collaborate with sales teams to increase market presence and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty • Manage demonstrations, validations, troubleshooting, and implementation of complex scientific workflows • Serve as a technical expert and maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies and applications • Support team development and maintain effective relationships across the organization to achieve business objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in applicable field • Preferred fields of study: Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Materials Science or related • Additional certifications in management or relevant technical areas advantageous • Valid driver's license required • 3+ years of people management or team leadership experience • Deep expertise with analytical instrumentation, workflows and applications • Experience in proteomics technologies is a plus • Demonstrated success in customer-facing technical support • Excellent presentation and communication skills across all levels • Strong business understanding and ability to support commercial success • Experience developing and delivering technical training programs • Ability to travel up to 50% • Proficient in English; additional language skills valuable • Advanced problem-solving and project management capabilities • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in collaborative environment • Experience with quality systems and regulatory requirements • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical staff
