📋 Description

• Provide scientific expertise, application support, and training to customers on Thermo Fisher Scientific’s antibodies, immunoassays, and Luminex assay and instrument portfolio • Deliver support through in-person, phone, email, and video communications • Partner with field sales representatives to provide pre- and post-sales customer support • Demonstrate, install, and train customers on relevant instruments and workflows • Address customer inquiries and complex technical issues through in-depth troubleshooting • Contribute to strategic development of innovative plans, models, standards, and techniques • Set priorities and help establish strategic team objectives • Train, coach, and mentor team members • Prepare and present seminars to diverse audiences • Partner with regional and global teams to achieve commercial, service, and support goals • Maintain current product and scientific knowledge • Facilitate distributor Field Application Scientist capabilities through training, coaching, and knowledge transfer

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master in Cell Biology or Immunology and relevant experiences • Several years of experience working with laboratory techniques, including cell separation, flow cytometry, cell culture, and immuno assays • Experience working with human tissue and whole blood • Proven understanding of immuno assay and preferably Luminex workflows and working in a cGMP environment • Experience presenting technical materials in written and verbal form • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems • Strong communication skills • Fluent in English and at least one other European language (Italian, Spanish, German, or French) • Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical reports • Able to travel throughout the Europe, Middle East and Africa territory, up to 80% travel • Living within a maximum one-hour drive of a major international airport
