• Serve as the primary contact between the sponsor and the organization at the project level • Ensure internal and external escalation pathways are followed • Define responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads when required • Own overall cross-functional project delivery across time, cost, and quality • Manage project-level financial stewardship, including contracts, resources, out-of-scope activity, change modification processes, negotiations, budgets, forecasts, and timelines • Establish, communicate, and manage customer expectations • Drive project-level risk identification and issue resolution through RBQM/RESOLVE • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and project-specific requirements • Mentor team members • Develop or contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification • 8+ years of previous experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job • Demonstrated experience managing global Oncology/Hematology trials • Technical and systems competency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity • Ability to delegate and prioritize workload and resources in a frequently changing environment • Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and adaptable approach • In-depth therapeutic-area knowledge and knowledge of clinical development guidelines and directives • Advanced knowledge of cross-functional project management principles covering time, quality, and cost • Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams • Strong customer service, judgment, decision-making, critical-thinking, analytical, strategic-thinking, negotiation, influencing, and financial-management skills • Cross-cultural awareness • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements • Work may involve exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, and electrical office equipment; personal protective equipment such as protective eyewear, garments, and gloves may be required
