📋 Description

• Ensure weekly EHR data updates for existing Vestrum panel physicians • Integrate new panel members from existing EMR systems • Lead data integrations, ETL processes, and database operations per collaborators' requirements • Maintain and improve existing integrations and add new EMR integrations • Improve automated quality assurance functions to validate incoming data and ensure accurate loading into the warehouse • Normalize various EMR data into Data Warehouse and analytical database • Maintain mapping tables for use by analysts (physicians, drugs, dosage forms and strengths) • Link and transform patient activity data into standardized outputs • Implement backup and recovery requirements and ensure nightly recoverable backups of all databases • Maintain database documentation describing data elements • Develop new data architecture and processes to improve performance using AWS analytical services • Ensure database security and compliance with HIPAA and GDPR • Manage operations including distribution of weekly and monthly reports • Communicate and maintain strong relations with collaborators

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification • Similar to 5+ years’ experience or equivalent blend of education, training, & experience • Proficiency in Python & Pyspark • Expert level SQL expertise and proficiency in SQL and relational database schema • Experience with SQL Server database technologies including SSIS and SSRS • SQL Server to AWS migration using analytical services • Experience building Cloud BI solutions using AWS • Experience with Databricks (preferable) and familiarity with Snowflake • Experience with ETL, data integrations, and database operations • Data modelling and database building experience • Experience normalizing EMR/EHR data into a data warehouse • Experience with health care or Electronic Medical records, Clinical trial data domain • Expertise in relational database platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL • Familiarity with server environments (Windows, Linux/Unix), Apache, IIS • Proficiency in web development and scripting languages like Python and Shell • Experience with automated quality assurance for incoming data and data validation • Knowledge of backup and recovery, nightly recoverable backups of databases • Ensure database security and compliance with HIPAA, GDPR • Performance tuning and query optimization • Project management and leadership experience; leadership and mentoring capabilities • Jira, Github experience • Agile methodology experience • Strong logical, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities • Excellent documentation and communication abilities • Familiarity with Tableau or PowerBI (good to have) • Experience in machine learning, NLP processing, and LLM (advantage)
