📋 Description

• Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of consulting and hands-on service offerings for platform engineering. • Serve as a cloud-native technical consultant, assessing client business needs and recommending scalable, secure solutions across the cloud and platform engineering ecosystem. • Align solution architectures with industry standards and best practices, working closely with cross-functional engineering and consulting teams. • Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to ensure successful delivery of client projects and identify opportunities for continued partnership and service expansion. • Draw upon your consulting experience to establish long-term relationships with client stakeholders and decision-makers, positioning yourself as a trusted technical advisor. • Contribute to the development of internal methodologies and consulting frameworks that enhance service delivery and operational maturity. • Develop and deliver proof of concepts (POCs) that demonstrate the value of proposed solutions and drive client adoption. • Support business development efforts by creating level-of-effort estimates, technical proposals, and statements of work (SOWs). • Provide thought leadership in cloud-native technologies, DevOps, and platform engineering, contributing to internal enablement and market differentiation. • Stay current with advancements in platform engineering, automation, and observability, and integrate emerging technologies into solution strategies. • Maintain enterprise use cases, success stories, and reference architectures to support go-to-market initiatives and consulting offerings.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience. • Proven consulting background, with hands-on expertise in cloud-native, DevOps, and platform engineering • Deep experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and related technologies including EKS, AKS, GKE, and OpenShift. • Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, and Harness. • Experience with observability solutions and OpenTelemetry (OTEL). • Knowledge of developer portals such as BackStage or comparable platforms. • Understanding of Kubernetes operators and tools like Cilium and Crossplane. • AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or DevOps Engineer certification preferred. • 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting cloud compute, networking, and storage services. • Experience with cloud operations, including performance monitoring and management using native and third-party tools. • Strong scripting proficiency in Python, Ruby, or GoLang. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment. • Excellent consultative communication skills—capable of understanding client needs, facilitating technical discussions, and guiding solution decisions collaboratively. • Experience producing detailed architecture, testing, and as-built documentation. • Comfortable managing multiple, concurrent projects while maintaining delivery excellence in a client-facing consulting capacity.
