📋 Description

• Implement instructed changes accurately and completely into aviation operational manuals and related documentation • Collate provided technical content into the required manual structure • Apply styles, formatting, templates, numbering, references, and document structure consistently • Use Microsoft Word, MadCap, Adobe Acrobat, JIRA, and MEL Manager for manual production and task management • Convert documents into required internal tools and formats where applicable • Update JIRA task status and progress assigned work through the appropriate workflow • Check completed work for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before submission or handover • Flag unclear instructions, missing information, formatting issues, inconsistencies, and content conflicts to the relevant Author • Estimate work effort and communicate progress, blockers, and capacity concerns • Collaborate with the Technical Publishing team and support colleagues • Use AI-assisted tools for proofreading, consistency checking, formatting, repetitive editing, content collation, and identifying inconsistencies • Complete AI User onboarding within 30 days and adopt evolving digital ways of working

🎯 Requirements

• Right to work in the UK • Experience in technical editing, document production, or a comparable detail-intensive documentation role • Aviation or another regulated or technical environment experience desirable • Proficiency, or ability to become proficient, in Microsoft Word, MadCap, Adobe Acrobat, JIRA, and MEL Manager • Strong attention to detail across content placement, formatting, styles, numbering, references, and structure • Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently • Clear communication skills and ability to ask questions and raise issues appropriately • Ability to manage workload honestly and communicate when at capacity • Prior experience with aviation operational manuals or MadCap Flare desirable • Familiarity with JIRA workflows and document control processes desirable • Experience converting documents between formats and internal tooling desirable • Future visa sponsorship is unavailable for this role
