📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions • Collaborate with product managers, designers, tech leads, and developers on project plans and technical execution • Mentor and coach developers, providing technical guidance and feedback • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and engineering meetings • Write high-quality, maintainable code using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React • Develop and maintain databases and data models; create and optimize queries • Monitor and analyze system performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks and issues • Stay current with emerging software development trends and technologies • Participate in Agile practices including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives • Improve software development processes and practices • Maintain the existing codebase and develop features supporting millions of users • Take growth engineering concepts from ideation to completion through build-measure-learn iterations

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience across frontend and backend development • Advanced experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js • Ability to model complex systems and business domains • Strong coding fundamentals and thoughtful decisions about structure, abstractions, interfaces, and trade-offs • Experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude • Ability to validate, challenge, and refine AI-generated output • Experience building, releasing, and maintaining production software • Practical understanding of software design, testing, security, reliability, and performance • Comfortable collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English • Willingness to share knowledge, improve engineering practices, and support engineering culture • Interest in cyber security, education, or TryHackMe’s mission is valuable
