📋 Description

• Own and lead high-impact initiatives across the full platform stack • Architect, design, and deliver scalable, resilient backend services and APIs • Lead technical initiatives across the full stack, driving execution from idea to delivery • Guide architectural decisions with reliability, security, and maintainability in mind • Mentor engineers, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and promote best practices • Proactively identify and resolve technical debt and bottlenecks • Partner with product, design, and stakeholders to shape and deliver solutions • Work closely with the Chief Product & Technology Officer to design, develop, and implement the SaaS platform and products • Contribute to engineering culture and set the bar for technical excellence

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience • 2+ years at Staff-level or equivalent • 8+ years of deep backend experience with Node.js or similar runtimes • 5+ years full-stack development experience with Node.js and React • Expertise in GraphQL, REST APIs, and microservices architectures • Deep experience with Apollo Server/Client, GraphQL ORMs, and PostgreSQL • Skilled in modern UI frameworks (e.g., Material UI) • Familiar with Docker, AWS, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) • Proven ability to lead technical design and delivery at scale • Strong knowledge of system design, distributed systems, and database modeling • Experience with agile methodologies and git version control • Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews • Able to navigate ambiguity and break down complex problems • Excellent communicator with a collaborative mindset • Degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent experience • Familiarity with incident response or cybersecurity is a plus • CodeSandbox, GitHub, or other project samples encouraged • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship) • Background check required
