📋 Description

• Prepare and distribute product configurations and customer quotes using online tools • Place accurate and timely product orders through internal systems • Check applicable rebates and promotions to maximize GP • Handle initial return merchandise authorization (RMA) requests in ConnectWise • Provide online access and support for UDT Digital Tools, including UDT Estore and UDT Hub • Guide customers through registration, navigation, ordering, and self-service features • Create bundles and apply or adjust pricing within quoting and configuration tools • Respond promptly and professionally to quote requests and product or pricing questions • Serve as a primary customer contact for order updates, quotes, and daily requests • Proactively communicate quote status, delays, backorders, and pricing changes • Monitor and manage the shared quote and support queue • Provide status updates and follow up to move open quotes toward close • Track and report response-time and resolution metrics • Resolve customer questions at first contact and escalate complex requests as appropriate • Configure hardware according to best-practice standards • Attend meetings in person or by phone when remote • Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and announcements • Develop product knowledge and customer service/sales skills through training • Complete Partner Product accreditation when applicable • Maximize GP on customer standards and transactional business • Build customer relationships and serve as second-in-command when the Field Account Manager is unavailable • Develop working relationships with internal departments • Support compliant quotes and configurations for government and K-12 accounts using applicable contracts and purchasing vehicles • Set clear response-time expectations and follow through on commitments

🎯 Requirements

• Technology industry experience or 2 years of non-retail sales/customer service experience • Excellent communication skills • Detail-oriented, effective interpersonal skills, energetic and enthusiastic • Working knowledge of Office applications • Ability to manage multiple concurrent customer requests while meeting response-time expectations • Demonstrated ability to multitask • Confidence with customer interactions • Strong sense of ownership and urgency • College degree preferred • Prior experience selling computer hardware, software, solutions, or services preferred • Cisco Advanced Technology certification preferred • 3 years of IT industry work experience preferred • Experience with CRM, quoting, or ticketing tools such as ConnectWise preferred • Familiarity with government, Higher Ed, and K-12 procurement processes and contract vehicles preferred • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States • Must complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire • Employment contingent upon successful completion of background and pre-employment drug screen • UDT is not currently hiring individuals who now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status
