âą Lead the company's highest-priority cross-functional programs from ambiguous requirements through delivery âą Translate business priorities into plans with sponsors, owners, timelines, dependencies, and success criteria âą Select and agree a focused set of high-impact initiatives with senior leadership âą Provide executive leadership with a consolidated view of initiative status, milestones, risks, resource constraints, and required decisions âą Identify and escalate blockers; resolve unclear ownership, handoffs, and cross-functional dependencies âą Establish a lightweight, globally consistent operating model for prioritisation, planning, execution, reporting, and escalation âą Adapt the operating model for different functions and regions without forcing identical processes âą Build on existing weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating rhythms âą Manage competing priorities and resource constraints across a program portfolio âą Help leaders make trade-offs âą Hire, develop, and lead a team of program managers âą Assign accountable program managers or execution owners to programs âą Build a service model supporting global and regional priorities without becoming a decision-making bottleneck âą Reduce duplicated work and coordination overhead âą Improve the predictability of major initiative delivery
đŻ Requirements
âą Personally led several high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from ambiguous requirements to successful delivery âą Built, scaled, or materially improved a PMO or enterprise program management function âą Managed programs across multiple countries, business units, or distributed organisations âą Worked directly with C-level executives and functional leaders to set priorities, resolve conflicts, and drive execution without direct authority âą Managed competing initiatives and limited resources across a portfolio of programs âą Managed and developed program managers or similar cross-functional execution teams âą Put practical tracking, executive reporting, and accountability systems in place that improved delivery outcomes âą Worked in a fast-growing organisation with significant ambiguity and changing structures âą Comfortable moving between portfolio-level prioritisation and detailed execution âą Experience in hardware, manufacturing, defence, government technology, or another complex delivery environment preferred âą Professional services background or experience in a complex enterprise with heavy cross-functional dependencies preferred
