📋 Description

• Provides Business Systems Analysis support within a defined business or process area • Works with supported stakeholders to understand high-level business objectives, processes, priorities and challenges • Reviews and refines business requirements and use cases to ensure they are clear, concise and traceable • Performs process-specific requirements analysis through interviews, document and artifact analysis, development of business process descriptions, and task and workflow analysis • Produces detailed process documentation, including system requirements and process flows / use cases • Collaborates with internal and external users/clients to elicit business concerns and develop workable solutions • Helps with fit/gap analysis to ensure the proposed software platform is the right solution • Determines impact on existing systems and processes • Maintains strong and collaborative relationships with business and IT colleagues • Supports the business in developing and delivering end user training • Addresses end user process questions and collaborates with IT colleagues to provide process/system support and ongoing issue analysis/correction • Develops progress reports and communicates project status to team and manager • Supports system testing and UAT: create/execute test plans and cases, document outcomes, work with team to resolve defects • Works in Agile/Scrum environments with iterative development cycles • Operates in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work with minimal support to ramp up quickly

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 3-5 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience • Demonstrate Business analysis, requirements and/or product ownership acumen with certification • Experience working Agile/Scrum environments with iterative development cycles • Excellent written and verbal communication • Experience working in Public sector • Experience with the AMANDA product suite (asset) • Some technical knowledge to assist with back end testing/validation (asset) • Prepared to support system testing and UAT, including creating and executing test plans and cases • Must be located in Canada
