📋 Description

• Provide expert medical insight to support the claims team • Review and interpret medical evidence • Identify functional restrictions and recovery expectations • Provide clear guidance to support informed claims decisions • Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders • Gather information and clarify complex medical issues • Help ensure customers receive the right level of support • Share clinical expertise across the business • Help nonclinical colleagues understand medical conditions, treatment pathways and functional capability • Work alongside Claims Assessors, Rehabilitation professionals and medical colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with active registration • Broad clinical experience across one or more specialties • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to interpret complex medical information and explain findings clearly to clinical and non-clinical audiences • Experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders • Ability to manage priorities and work autonomously • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications • Experience in Occupational Health, Rehabilitation, Disability Assessment, Case Management or Insurance is advantageous but not essential
