📋 Description

• Responsible for the sale of Ventura Foods branded portfolio of products to existing and new Regional Chain accounts • Manage and grow the volume and variable margin within specified territory and account list • Attain sales objectives and execute key company initiatives • Develop, manage and grow both existing and potential new Regional Chain accounts within specified territory, leveraging Velocity (CRM) and Forge (pricing contract management) • Fully leverage Velocity to modernize route to market via territory management plan, opportunity prospecting, oil contract management and opportunity support requests (R&D, Culinary, Insights, Risk Management, Legal, QA) • Provide strategic direction to Chain broker selling partners to maximize sales efforts, including operating models for account interaction, targeting, new product launch support/execution, communication of pricing, and utilization of agency resources • Organize, manage, and facilitate internal resources including Culinary, R&D, QA, Marketing, Customer Solutions, and Risk Management/Commodity team to deliver customized customer solutions • Work with internal pricing teams to support new product pricing and contract renewals/Forge updates • Manage expenses including T&E budget, sample approval, and operator annual marketing event participation • Use Microsoft Office and data/insights to guide customer strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years' Foodservice Sales experience • Ability to travel up to 25% • Experience selling to chain restaurants (strongly desired) • Experience using Technomic 1500 (highly preferred) • Self motivated, team player with strong critical thinking, leadership, communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills • Well versed in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Comfortable with the review and use of data and insights to guide decision making and customer strategy • Familiarity with use of CRM system a plus • Ideal candidate lives in one of these states: Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana
