Walrus Foundation is a data platform built for AI that provides verifiable, portable, and programmable data storage and memory. It offers Walrus Memory â a portable memory layer for AI agents that persists across apps and sessions â and Walrus Console â a place to store, protect, and connect data. Built as part of the Sui ecosystem (created by Mysten Labs), Walrus records content-derived IDs and proofs on the Sui Layer 1 blockchain so data can be independently verified and remains durable across a decentralized network. Targeted use cases include improving AI reliability (preventing poisoned datasets and enabling verifiable agent memory), enabling data marketplaces, and protecting DeFi and digital interactions. The platform also supports a native token (WAL) and provides documentation, SDKs, and integrations for developers.
