📋 Description

• As a Server Manager, you are part of the central Digital Services division of WBS GRUPPE and actively help shape the digital education landscape. • Together with your team, you maintain and optimize our server environments and contribute to the introduction of new solutions. • Operation, administration and further development of servers (Windows and Linux). • Planning, implementation and commissioning of systems and services. • Ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. • Provisioning and configuration of hardware, software and access rights. • Troubleshooting and documentation in German. • Escalation management for incidents and outages. • Collaborating with internal teams to continuously optimize and standardize the server landscape.

🎯 Requirements

• Completed IT training, degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience (career changers welcome). • Strong knowledge of Windows (10/11, Server 2016–2025) and Linux (preferably Debian). • Experience operating, planning and commissioning IT systems and services. • Very good knowledge of Active Directory (including GPO, DNS, Sites & Services, trusts). • Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere), backup (Veeam), Microsoft Terminal Servers and ideally PKI. • Experience with monitoring systems (e.g. PRTG) and a basic understanding of networking and IT security. • Fluent German language skills.
