⢠Design, build, and optimize the low-latency hot path for automated/electronic trading in modern C++ ⢠Build and maintain market-data infrastructure, including feed handlers, ticker plant, order-book construction, and normalization ⢠Implement exchange connectivity and FIX-based order flow, including smart-order-routing components ⢠Reduce tick-to-trade latency using lock-free data structures, cache- and NUMA-aware design, and kernel-bypass networking ⢠Profile, measure, and eliminate latency and jitter across the full stack ⢠Translate trader and quant execution needs into performant, reliable production code ⢠Own components end-to-end, including reliability, observability, and incident response ⢠Work alongside traders and quantitative researchers at a global trading firm
⢠Approximately 6+ years of professional C++ engineering in production low-latency systems ⢠Modern C++, with C++17 minimum and C++20 preferred ⢠Low-latency experience in traditional financial services, such as proprietary trading, market-making, HFT, investment-bank e-trading, or systematic hedge funds ⢠Direct market-data, feed-handler, or electronic-trading experience ⢠Hands-on experience with lock-free programming, multicast, low-level networking, and performance profiling ⢠Comfortable with fully remote work and a 12-month contract structure ⢠Must already hold the right to work in the country of residence; no sponsorship offered ⢠Kernel-bypass experience with Solarflare/Onload or DPDK is nice to have ⢠NUMA/cache-aware design experience is nice to have ⢠Order book, ticker plant, smart-order-router, and exchange connectivity experience is nice to have ⢠Deep tenure in a single demanding low-latency environment is nice to have ⢠Traditional trading background required; crypto-only low-latency experience is not a fit ⢠Production low-latency systems experience required; purely academic or research C++ is not a fit
