📋 Description

• Manage patient access operations, including processing appointments, handling inbound calls and voicemails, and processing patient inquiries • Coordinate patient outreach and engagement through tracking systems for inquiries, record requests, scheduling, and follow-up communications • Update provider schedules and availability, process overnight messages, and manage electronic health record documentation • Monitor operational channels, relay critical information to clinical staff, escalate issues, and facilitate communication between teams and patients • Process co-pays and fees, conduct routine insurance eligibility checks, and explain billing responsibilities to patients • Run and audit operational reports, review patient charts for accuracy, and ensure compliance with data management standards • Develop reports, analyze operational data for leadership, and identify workflow optimization opportunities • Support clinic operations and assist leadership in improving service delivery

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of operations experience, preferably in a start-up environment, behavioral health clinic or hospital • Comfort with or ability to quickly learn digital clinic tools, including digital EMR, telehealth platforms, and digital intake forms • Experience working directly with customers/patients in a customer experience capacity • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to follow operational processes related to patient onboarding, including establishing patient charts, welcoming patients, and completing insurance checks • Ability to quickly understand, respond to, and address challenges arising throughout the day in clinic • Comfort working with clinical teams, including LCSWs, LMHCs, Care Managers, Psychiatrists, Psych NPs, and Licensed Peers • Desire to improve mental health care delivery • Experience with insurance and medical claims processes • Experience with credentialing • Openness and ability to respond to constructive feedback • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, prioritization, flexibility, and independent/collaborative working skills listed as preferred qualifications
