<Pontville School> Pontville School is a specialist school within the Witherslack Group that provides education and in-house therapeutic support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). 📋 Description

• Shape and deliver high-quality, engaging Science education for young people who need a different approach and a fresh start. • Design and deliver high-impact online lessons that build understanding, confidence and resilience. • Adapt in real time and use subject expertise to make Science accessible, relevant and achievable. • Contribute to curriculum design and develop interactive digital resources. • Support the ongoing refinement of our online platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) with strong Science expertise at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable). • Experience delivering engaging, high-quality teaching, ideally within online or digital settings. • Confident working with common end-user applications • Proven ability to design and adapt curriculum content into interactive, accessible learning resources. • Strong understanding of pupils with SEND, SEMH or those disengaged from mainstream education. • Confidence in assessing progress and using data to inform teaching and support outcomes. • Ability to build trusting relationships while maintaining high expectations and positive behaviour standards. • A collaborative, reflective approach and unwavering commitment to safeguarding and educating the whole child.
