📋 Description

• Lead a small team to ensure team SLAs are met • Train new hires on systems and processes • Work with the manager to estimate work volume and support resource planning • Guide team members in developing domain expertise • Conduct periodic performance reviews and development discussions • Provide and record continuous feedback • Manage the team’s SLA performance • Support audits • Undertake and lead data, basis, results, and balance sheet production for IFRS, Economic Capital, Asset Share, and New Business Reporting • Analyze actuarial model results, including validation, change analysis, economic and non-economic stresses, sensitivities, critical scenarios, and back-testing • Produce base and stressed balance sheets and P&L accounts under Solvency II requirements • Calculate and validate SCR using solvency models • Produce and analyze new business reports, including VNB, APE, NBS, and profit driver analysis • Produce asset model results and perform stress analysis, ALM, and equity release valuation • Lead regression testing for change requests, including testing and impact analysis • Lead complex projects and developments, including project planning, dashboards, and communications • Generate creative solutions to complex problems

🎯 Requirements

• ALS modelling requirement or Actuarial SME with Data science background (VBA/ R/ Python) • Graduation with Actuarial exams • At least 4 years of Actuarial experience • Strong understanding of Prophet, DCS etc. • Experience with actuarial model result analysis, validation, change analysis, stresses, sensitivities, critical scenarios, and back-testing • Experience with Solvency II requirements, including internal model and standard formula balance sheet and P&L production • Experience with SCR calculation and validation using solvency models • Experience with new business reporting and analysis, including VNB, APE, NBS, and profit driver analysis • Experience with asset model results production, stress analysis, ALM, and equity release valuation • Experience with regression testing, change requests, testing, and impact analysis • Ability to lead complex projects and project planning • Actuarial experience in UK life insurance
