📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and validation of advanced statistical, machine learning, and optimization models • Solve complex business and operational problems across GXO products and workflows • Partner with product managers, engineers, deployment leads, and business stakeholders to frame use cases • Define success metrics and identify required data sources • Prioritize data science solutions • Communicate analytical insights, model trade-offs, uncertainty, and recommended actions to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Raise data science standards through methodological review, documentation, mentoring, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics • Experience taking analytical or machine learning solutions from exploration through deployment and ongoing performance management • Strong Python and SQL skills • Experience building maintainable data science workflows • Experience building feature engineering pipelines • Experience building experimentation frameworks • Experience building model evaluation code for production settings • Working knowledge of GCP-based data and ML environments • Preferably experience with BigQuery, Vertex AI, and cloud workflows supporting deployment, monitoring, and retraining • Flexibility to work with various time zones, including the US
