📋 Description

• Identify and own challenging problems, form testable hypotheses, and drive significant business impact • Lead the design and analysis of experiments • Develop causal and predictive models to test ideas • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to affect changes in production systems • Provide intelligence to other teams • Communicate conclusions to technical and non-technical audiences • Keep the team and projects current on developments in machine learning and statistics through papers, conferences, and local events • Productionize and automate model pipelines within Python services

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with data analysis/statistical software and packages, including pandas, statsmodels, and sklearn within Python, R, or similar • Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, forecasting, or causal inference • Comfortable working in a Unix environment • Sufficient software engineering skills to effectively work with software engineers • Demonstrated capability for original research • Curiosity to uncover promising solutions to new problems • Persistence to carry ideas through to an end goal • Motivation to develop deep product and business knowledge • Ability to connect abstract modeling and analysis tasks with business value • Must be located in the United Kingdom • Northern Ireland applicants require a Basic criminal background check via AccessNI for employment
