• Be the technical front door for integrations—join customer calls with Sales, whiteboard architectures, and answer integration questions • Scope new integrations end-to-end (no coding): define requirements, data flows, and acceptance criteria; produce crisp handoffs to Engineering • Establish lightweight audit practices so integrations remain reliable as we scale • Design for reliability and security: specify auth patterns, retries/idempotency, rate-limit strategies, data mapping, and observability expectations • Create leverage: build reference architectures, scoping templates, and FAQs to speed and standardize future engagements • Accelerate sales and inform product development by de-risking deals and clarifying implementation timelines • Produce clear updates and status communications to Sales and Customer teams • Support acceptance and go-live activities to ensure successful integrations
• 2–4+ years as an IC in Solutions Architecture / Sales Engineering / Integration Consulting at a B2B SaaS company • Proven sales presence—comfortable leading discovery and whiteboarding on sales calls • Demonstrated ownership of API-based integrations end-to-end (discovery → scope → design → engineering handoff → acceptance) without writing code • Strong grasp of integration fundamentals: REST/GraphQL, webhooks, OAuth2/OIDC/SAML SSO, pagination/rate limits, retries/idempotency, batching vs. event-driven, and data mapping • Ability to read and reason about technical artifacts (API docs, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON payloads, error logs) and validate assumptions with tools like Postman/Insomnia • Excellent written deliverables: solution design docs and acceptance criteria; crisp handoffs to Engineering and clear status communications to Sales/Customer stakeholders • High EQ and stakeholder management—credible with both technical (IT/CTO) and business (Finance/Procurement) buyers • Must be authorized to work in the United States; candidates requiring visa sponsorship are not considered • We expect standard US work hours • Nice to have: Direct experience integrating enterprise-grade ERPs (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud, Workday) • Nice to have: Familiarity with Azure AD/Entra ID (SSO/SAML/OIDC, SCIM) and GCP/Azure services relevant to integrations • Nice to have: Exposure to procurement/finance stacks: Coupa/Ariba (P2P), CLM (Ironclad/SpotDraft), Intake (Zip), ITSM (ServiceNow/Jira), and data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery) • Nice to have: Experience partnering with engineers to size work, create milestones, and define SLIs/SLOs for integrations • Nice to have: RFP/security questionnaire and SOC 2–minded design experience (least privilege, PII handling, secrets rotation, vendor risk) • Nice to have: Built repeatable integration templates/playbooks and sales enablement assets (reference architectures, FAQs, scoping calculators) • Nice to have: Startup/high-growth background serving mid-market and enterprise customers
