📋 Description

• Own and manage the monthly financial close process • Prepare timely and accurate management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting • Consolidate financial results across the Estonian, Cypriot, and UK entities • Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled and the general ledger is accurate • Prepare variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods • Develop and maintain relevant financial and operational KPIs • Coordinate the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts • Work with department heads to understand performance and key financial drivers • Identify financial risks and opportunities • Support management with scenario analysis and financial modelling • Maintain short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit control • Monitor the company's cash position, working capital, and supplier payment cycles • Ensure appropriate banking and payment controls are in place • Manage the annual statutory accounts process and coordinate external audits • Ensure VAT, payroll taxes, and other statutory filings are completed accurately and on time • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisers, and other professional advisers across relevant jurisdictions • Continuously improve finance processes, systems, and internal controls • Ensure the finance function operates efficiently and provides accurate and reliable information to management • Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team • Perform any other duties relevant to the role

🎯 Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred • Significant experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or in a similar role • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge • Proven experience working with international, multi-entity businesses • Experience with group consolidation and reporting across multiple jurisdictions • Strong understanding of cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting • Strong knowledge of Excel and Xero • Experience improving financial processes, systems, and controls • Experience working in an SME or entrepreneurial environment is advantageous • Highly accurate and accountable for the numbers • Commercially minded, rather than purely accounting-focused • Proactive and comfortable taking ownership • Confident in challenging information and identifying problems • Able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues • Hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-moving, international environment • Focused on continuous improvement
