📋 Description

• Complete hands-on statutory inspections of lifts, cranes, LEV, and related equipment • Provide expert engineering opinions to help clients comply with relevant legislation • Manage and develop relationships with Zurich Engineering clients • Manage own diary and service an assigned client area • Report inspection findings using a rugged laptop • Issue inspection reports electronically to clients • Work as part of a multi-disciplined inspection team • Report to a Team Manager • Complete industry-leading bespoke training and progress to competency and qualification level • Work from home while travelling a reasonable distance to client sites

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced engineer with sound knowledge of the relevant engineering discipline • Ideally Level 4 qualification (HND/HNC etc.) in a relevant engineering field; minimum Level 3 • Either a time-served or Modern Apprenticeship • Hands-on experience in a relevant engineering discipline • Background working with lifts and/or crane equipment advantageous • Hands-on experience in manufacturing, repair, maintenance, mechanical, or motor trade roles • Compex qualification advantageous • P601 LEV qualification advantageous • Inspection and test qualification (C&G 2391-52 or equivalent) • Full valid UK driving licence • Good IT skills and high levels of literacy • Excellent communication skills and confidence making sound engineering judgements • Willingness and ability to work paid overtime
