📋 Description

• Complete bespoke industry-leading training • Carry out hands-on statutory inspections of lift and crane equipment • Provide expert opinions across a wide range of equipment • Enable clients to comply with relevant legislation and required standards • Report inspection findings using a rugged laptop • Issue reports electronically to clients • Manage own diary and client area • Build and develop client relationships while representing Zurich Engineering • Work as part of a multi-disciplined inspection team • Report to a Team Manager • Work from home while travelling to clients within a reasonable distance

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced engineer with sound knowledge of the relevant engineering discipline • Ideally Level 4 qualification (HND/HNC etc.) in a relevant engineering field; minimum Level 3 • Time served or Modern Apprenticeship • Hands-on experience in a relevant engineering discipline • Lift and/or crane equipment experience advantageous • Experience in manufacturing, repair, maintenance, mechanical or motor trade advantageous • Full valid UK driving licence • Willingness and ability to work paid overtime • Good IT skills and high levels of literacy • Excellent communication skills • Confidence making sound engineering judgements
