📋 Description

• Provide expert claims assessment and management for Group Income Protection and Group Critical Illness claims • Build trust-based relationships with a portfolio of customers • Manage an independent caseload of claims • Assess new claim notifications • Conduct proactive reviews of claims in payment • Liaise with the Rehabilitation Team when needed • Gather information over the telephone from all parties • Request and assess claims evidence • Enable claims decision-making and reviews • Communicate effectively and sensitively with vulnerable customers, including handling difficult conversations

🎯 Requirements

• Claims management experience (Group IP and CI) • CII Claims qualifications (not essential) • Passion for customers and driving Continuous Improvement • Ability to cope with varying workloads, pressures, and priorities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to quickly establish professional and effective working relationships with customers • Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with vulnerable customers • Excellent judgement and decision-making skills • Personal contribution to a positive and supportive team culture • Excellent attention to detail, with strong focus on quality and root cause analysis
