Descrição

• Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept across Cloudflare’s Security, Networking, and Developer Platforms • Tailor solutions to public sector procurement and compliance standards • Lead or oversee technical onboarding and implementation • Serve as the primary executive and engineering contact for customers • Own discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy with Account Executives • Monitor customer health scores and telemetry to accelerate time-to-value and resolve integration bottlenecks in municipal and educational IT infrastructures • Carry a variable quota tied to new business acquisition and/or account growth • Drive platform adoption, revenue retention, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities • Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews and translate platform capabilities into ROI for C-level executives • Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout onboarding, maturity, renewal, and expansion • Leverage AI agents and internal platforms to automate RFP/security questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, and telemetry monitoring • Report to the Regional Customer Engineering Leader

🎯 Requisitos

• Proven experience working with or selling into SLED, Local Government, or Municipal agencies • Deep understanding of public sector buying cycles, compliance requirements, and unique government IT constraints • Experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering • Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture • Proven track record in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, business value translation, and public sector/enterprise sales cycles • Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills • Hands-on Cloudflare developer platform and AI ecosystem experience, including Workers AI, AI Gateway, and Vectorize (strongly preferred) • Experience with prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or RAG architectures (strongly preferred) • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages (strongly preferred) • Must reside in California or Arizona • Offer may be conditioned on authorization to receive technology controlled under U.S. export laws without sponsorship for an export license
