Descrição

• Own pipelines, data models, and end-to-end platform reliability across Snowflake ingress and egress paths • Triage platform incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes • Define and report pipeline service levels for freshness, job success rate, and recovery time • Provide debugging, triage, support, and design guidance to engineers and analysts • Participate in on-call and event-support rotations, including heightened coverage around major live events • Design and build shared platform components, including medallion layers, role and access taxonomy, ingestion libraries, and orchestration frameworks • Lead Snowflake consolidation, including replication, account merges, secure-share repointing, parity validation, and cutover • Retire duplicated legacy tooling including Airflow, notebook-driven ingestion, SSIS, and legacy CI/CD • Build golden paths, templates, reference implementations, and documentation for onboarding sources and shipping models • Maintain shared Python ingestion connectors and observability hooks • Operate managed Fivetran ingestion and make build-versus-buy decisions • Own Prefect on EKS, including deployments, work pools, worker health, containerized flows, and flow taxonomy • Administer Snowflake as a shared multi-tenant platform and manage performance, replication, secure sharing, and warehouse costs • Manage Snowflake objects declaratively in Terraform • Build and maintain AWS infrastructure with Terraform across EKS, networking, IAM, S3, Lambda, and secrets management • Maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD with AWS OIDC, promotion paths, review gates, dbt tests, and data quality checks • Build and review dbt models and consolidate macro libraries • Partner with Analytics Engineering and Data Science on governed semantic models, feature pipelines, and reporting datasets • Implement masking, tokenization, row-access policies, network policies, secrets rotation, and SSO-driven provisioning as code • Support cataloging, lineage, access reviews, audits, and security remediation • Prepare the platform for ML, AI, feature pipelines, and retrieval-ready datasets • Use AI-assisted engineering tools and help establish team practices • Mentor global delivery partners and engineers, review work against standards, and advise stakeholders and leadership on technical trade-offs

🎯 Requisitos

• 7+ years building and operating production data platforms • At least 3 years focused on shared platform and infrastructure work • Deep hands-on Snowflake experience at administrator level, including RBAC, warehouse sizing and cost management, masking and row-access policies, replication, secure data sharing, and performance tuning • Strong Python and SQL skills • Production experience with Prefect, Airflow, or Dagster, including running and upgrading it on Kubernetes or comparable infrastructure • Hands-on Terraform on AWS, including EKS or ECS, IAM, VPC networking, S3, Lambda, and secrets management • dbt experience at scale, including project structure, macros, testing, and consolidating overlapping projects • CI/CD ownership for data systems, preferably GitHub Actions, including keyless OIDC authentication, multi-environment promotion, and automated quality gates • Experience with managed ingestion such as Fivetran, CDC, Snowpipe, and event or behavioral data platforms such as Amplitude or Segment • Operational discipline with observability tooling such as Datadog, alerting design, incident response, and post-incident follow-through • Demonstrated platform migration or consolidation experience, including parity validation and cutover planning • Experience setting standards adopted by other engineers through reusable frameworks, reference implementations, documentation, and code review • Comfortable working with offshore and partner delivery teams • Clear written communication, particularly design documents, runbooks, and incident write-ups • Practical data governance experience preferred, including PII classification, access controls, retention, and lineage • Exposure to ML or AI workloads preferred • Experience in media, sports, entertainment, live events, ticketing, or consumer and fan data environments preferred
