Descrição

• Build frontend experiences and backend services for viewing and managing subscriptions, renewing products, configuring auto-renewal, and managing billing accounts • Work on renewals, overages and reconciliations, subscription visibility, and budget and reservation management • Design and build fullstack features across the post-purchase subscription journey • Contribute to technical design and implementation of subscription lifecycle capabilities • Partner with Product and Design to create resilient, well-tested solutions • Integrate workflows with billing, customer account, and internal admin systems • Write maintainable, well-tested code and follow rollout safety and monitoring practices • Participate in code reviews • Identify and reduce technical debt and architectural risk • Participate in incident response and on-call or operational support as required

🎯 Requisitos

• Professional experience as a fullstack engineer and confidence working across frontend and backend code • Ruby on Rails (must have) • Vue.js (preferred) or React • Experience owning technical direction for a product area • Experience building or maintaining transactional or checkout-style flows, ideally in a billing, ecommerce, or subscription context • Familiarity integrating with third-party billing or customer relationship management systems such as Zuora, Salesforce, or Stripe is a plus, not a requirement • Focus on safe, incremental delivery • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely about complex technical, architectural, and organizational problems • Written and spoken English proficiency sufficient to collaborate in a remote, largely asynchronous work environment • Alignment with GitLab's values and commitment to working in accordance with them
