Descrição

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of 2+ designers through feedback, career guidance, and hands-on coaching • Establish design quality, craft, and collaboration standards across the organization • Conduct design critiques and foster a constructive, inclusive, growth-oriented feedback culture • Hire and onboard additional design talent as the team scales • Architect and implement a scalable design system with component libraries, design tokens, interaction patterns, and documentation • Establish and enforce design best practices, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines • Create and maintain design documentation • Serve as the internal Figma expert and establish libraries, file organization, naming standards, and component governance • Train designers and cross-functional partners on advanced Figma capabilities • Evaluate Figma platform updates and new features • Collaborate with Product and Engineering from discovery through delivery • Influence roadmap decisions with design thinking and user-centered insights • Facilitate design reviews and align stakeholders on design direction, rationale, and tradeoffs • Evaluate and champion AI-powered design tools and workflows • Experiment with AI tooling and develop responsible-use guidelines • Position the design team as an early adopter and internal champion of AI-assisted workflows • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requisitos

• 7+ years of experience in product design • At least 2 years in a design leadership or senior IC role within a product-driven technology organization • Deep expertise in Figma, including component architecture, variables/tokens, auto layout, and prototyping • Demonstrated experience building or significantly maturing a design system from the ground up • Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work and systems-level thinking • Excellent communication and facilitation skills • Proven ability to mentor and grow designers at varying experience levels • Solid understanding of front-end development principles and design-to-engineering implementation • Experience working in a fast-growing startup or scaling design function preferred • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools preferred • Experience with user research methods preferred • Experience working with product managers and engineers in an Agile or continuous delivery environment preferred • Track record of advocating for and improving accessibility preferred
