Descrição

• Manage and provide real estate legal support for clean energy and data center development projects across Intersect’s portfolio. • Lead real estate legal support throughout all stages of project development, including site control, project acquisitions, late-stage development activities, and related real estate matters. • Support M&A and project acquisition transactions involving development-stage projects and related real estate assets. • Assist with real estate components of broader commercial, development, and operational agreements as needed. • Lead the negotiation, review, and management of lease options, purchase options, easements, crossing agreements, and other real estate agreements. • Evaluate transaction structures and provide practical legal guidance that supports business objectives while appropriately managing risk. • Work closely with Land, Development, Construction, Operations, and Environmental/Permitting teams to support project execution. • Serve as a trusted legal advisor to internal stakeholders on real estate matters affecting development activities. • Collaborate across functions to identify solutions, remove obstacles, and help projects progress efficiently. • Coordinate with and manage outside real estate counsel on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and closing transactions. • Oversee real estate diligence activities and support transaction execution across multiple concurrent projects. • Contribute to the ongoing development of internal processes, workflows, and best practices within the Real Estate Legal team.

🎯 Requisitos

• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law. • 5+ years of experience as a real estate transactional attorney in a law firm and/or in-house legal environment. • Strong experience with real estate agreements commonly used in clean energy, infrastructure, data center, or related industries. • Experience supporting complex development projects, acquisitions, or project portfolios involving multiple stakeholders. • Ability to independently manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining attention to detail and strong judgment. • Demonstrated success partnering with commercial teams and external counsel to negotiate and execute real estate transactions. • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to balance legal risk with practical business considerations and provide commercially focused legal advice. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • An entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative approach, and willingness to solve complex problems across functions. • Comfort working under pressure and driving matters through completion with minimal oversight.
