Descrição

• Lead end-to-end software engineering execution across clinical, patient-facing, platform, and device-integrated software systems in a regulated Software as a Medical Device environment • Establish and evolve engineering operating systems, governance frameworks, and development practices • Improve engineering velocity, product quality, release confidence, system reliability, and customer outcomes • Ensure software development lifecycle processes meet FDA, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, cybersecurity, and internal QMS requirements • Translate technical concepts, delivery risks, and strategic tradeoffs for executive leadership and stakeholders • Advance CI/CD frameworks, development platforms, automation, and engineering enablement tools • Govern AI-assisted software development practices • Establish a metrics-driven engineering culture using operational and quality indicators • Build, lead, and develop software engineering directors, managers, and senior technical leaders • Mentor engineering leaders and cultivate leadership capability, organizational resilience, continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence • Partner with Product Security, Software Quality, Research & Systems Engineering, Machine Learning, and IT • Align Product Management, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams from concept through commercialization • Lead software engineering diligence, technical assessments, and post-acquisition integration activities • Contribute to long-term software platform, architecture, and technology strategy

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline required • 10+ years of progressive software engineering leadership experience • Experience leading large-scale engineering organizations and senior technology leaders • Success leading development and delivery of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions in highly regulated medical device environments • Experience taking regulated software products from concept through development, verification, validation, regulatory approval, commercialization, and post-market support • Deep expertise in FDA software regulations, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and medical device quality systems • Experience applying regulatory requirements within modern software development environments • Experience leading complex, matrixed software engineering organizations through growth, transformation, organizational change, and technology modernization • Advanced degree preferred • Experience in healthcare, medical device, digital health, or regulated technology organizations preferred • Experience scaling organizations supporting connected products, cloud platforms, data ecosystems, and customer-facing applications preferred • Exposure to technical diligence, integration planning, or software leadership support for mergers and acquisitions preferred • Experience modernizing software delivery capabilities, including CI/CD, automation, and engineering productivity tools within regulated environments preferred • Experience evaluating, implementing, and governing AI-assisted software development practices preferred • Strategic and execution-oriented leadership • Ability to translate business priorities into operational excellence and measurable outcomes • Experience developing leaders and building high-performing teams • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and executive stakeholder influence • Data-driven, pragmatic, and decisive approach • Ability to lead through complex change, growth, and transformation
