Descrição

• Design, review, and build well-crafted software with fellow Nava engineers • Collaborate with government partners and other contractors to architect, implement, and deploy new systems and improvements to existing systems • Work in an agile manner to efficiently ship features that meet user needs • Create tools and processes to automate development, testing, and production workflows • Write and review technical documentation and perform code reviews • Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and investigate issues • Participate in hiring activities, including referrals, interviews, and interview debriefs • Improve overall engineering quality through documentation, technical guidance, mentoring, and best practices • Lead significant migration efforts and work with government stakeholders to gain buy-in for technical initiatives

🎯 Requisitos

• At least 7 years of experience mapping and driving systemic improvements within complex service environments • At least 7 years of experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment • Experience designing and building medium- to large-scale web applications • Significant experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS • At least 5 years of hands-on professional experience building web applications and systems with modern JavaScript frameworks, especially Node.js • Understanding of web interface design best practices • Ability to design, build, and test semantic, accessible, Section 508-compliant web applications • Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, or Mocha • Ability to think strategically about trade-offs and short-term versus long-term benefits • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future • Ability to meet other requirements for applicable government contracts • May be subject to a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract
